We source and commission writers for trade, travel and educational books, and work closely with them on your behalf to develop a clear rationale and high-quality material. Our project editors supervise individuals or teams of authors during the writing process to ensure that your brief is fulfilled and the script is delivered on time.

We commission copy-editing, proofreading, Americanisation, Anglicisation and indexing. Because we are used to working with different publishers' house styles, our copy-editors and proofreaders are all fully briefed in the specific style requirements for each job. The work is thoroughly checked by our project editors for consistency, accuracy and overall quality. Our editors are used to working to tight deadlines, are skilled at problem-solving and always seek to add value to your publication.

Our project editors source and manage translators, including those with specialist subject knowledge, for most languages.

We supply original text and cover concepts from your initial brief that provide practical design solutions. If you prefer, our in-house specialists will lay out pages creatively according to your design template and type specification. We supply the final product as PostScript files, PDFs or application files on disk.

We undertake picture research or commission new photography for both covers and content.

We commission a range of artwork styles or cartography to suit your project, or create illustrations in-house.
