Our clients come from all sectors of the publishing industry. Here are details of just a few.
Thomas Cook Publishing
We have a long and well-established working relationship with Thomas Cook, and
have produced hundreds of its guides over the years. We have worked on most of
its major series, such as
Travellers,
CitySpots,
HotSpots and
Drive Around, taking
the projects from commissioning authors and photographers right through to sending
PDF files to the printer.
Pearson Education
CPM has worked on a number of titles for Pearson, most recently educational books
for the African and Caribbean markets. We have also produced a series of IGCSE
books for the international market in subjects such as IT.
SEN Press
CPM has worked in close partnership with SEN Press since its inception, creating
age-appropriate readers about life skills issues for teenagers with learning
difficulties. We designed the five series, commissioned illustrators and authors,
and took these publications right through to delivery of printed books.
Jerboa Books
Jerboa Books is an educational publisher set up on the back of a successful
bookshop in Dubai with the aim of publishing high-quality home-grown books
in both English and Arabic. CPM has created a number of titles for its Arabian
market, from commissioning new series designs, authors and illustrators through
to final printer PDFs. We have also consulted on a number of locally produced titles.
Éditions de La Martinière
We have produced English-language editions of a range of titles including
Tea,
The World in Stamps and
Mozart: Letters and Manuscripts.
Flammarion
We have recently worked on the American edition of a beautiful coffee-table book
called
Chocolate, a two-volume gift box about the history of chocolate with mouth-watering recipes.
Parragon Books
We enjoy a well-established relationship with Parragon, for whom we produce many
UK and US editions of a range of lavishly illustrated reference books covering
lifestyle, cookery, gardening and crafts, from
1001 Ideas for Living, through
A Concise Guide to Roses,
Make Your Own Jewellery and – our personal favourite –
Cooking for Your Dog.
Rising Stars
CPM has created a series of Key Stage 3 English pupil and teacher books for educational
publisher Rising Stars. Aimed at lower-ability boys and closely linked to the National
Curriculum, the topical subject matter is highly designed and illustrated. We have also
produced updated editions of its Key Stage 2 revision guides and practice questions books
for English, Maths and Science.
Éditions Grund
CPM was responsible for project managing the first-ever English edition of
the
Benezit Dictionary of Artists, a 14-volume encyclopedia used by art dealers,
museums and galleries.
Quercus Editions
For The Gambling Handbook, a beginner's guide to casino and online gambling, we
commissioned the author, developed the content, commissioned the design and supervised
the layouts. We also undertook the picture research and commissioned the illustrations.
